Question
A person appointed me to buy a commodity with a known price, and I was able to buy it from the seller at a lower price. What is the ruling on the excess amount?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: You are to be accounted for the price at which you purchased, and it is not permissible to increase it beyond the agreed amount, nor are you entitled to take the increase; because you are a trusted agent, and God knows best.
