Is it permissible for a mother to give her Zakat to her poor son?

Question: A man is married to a very nervous woman. In every disagreement, she asks for a divorce and threatens to harm herself by burning or committing suicide. The husband is forced to divorce her, then things calm down. The last time she asked for a divorce, he told her: You are at your parents' house. Is this considered a divorce?
