Atonement for Deliberate Fasting Break
Is it permissible to hold a feast for brothers and sisters instead of the atonement for deliberately breaking a fast in Ramadan?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The expiation for deliberately breaking the fast in Ramadan is to fast for two consecutive months; if one is unable to fast, then he should feed sixty needy people. And God knows best.
