The Zakat on crops is not waived due to insanity

Question
If a farmer who grows fruit trees on his land becomes insane, is he exempt from Zakat?
Answer

I say, and with Allah's success: If a farmer becomes insane, his Zakat on his land does not fall; because sanity and maturity are not conditions for the Zakat on plants, as it is obligatory on the insane and the child; because it is the expense of the growing land like the tax, unlike Zakat; because it is an act of worship, and Allah knows best.
