Question: What is the zakat threshold in shekels for every 10,000, and how do we calculate its zakat?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If the value of the shekel reaches the equivalent of 100 grams of gold, then it is subject to zakat, and its zakat is paid at 2.5%, and God knows best.
