What is the ruling if the muezzin breaks his wudu during the call to prayer or the iqama?
Answer
It is preferable to complete it and then go to perform ablution and pray; because the beginning of the call to prayer and the iqama while in a state of ritual impurity is permissible, so completing the prayer is more appropriate. See: Opening the Door of Care 1: 202.
