Working on a Vineyard for Wine Production
My friend is a contractor; he was offered a job at a farm, and after inquiring and investigating about this farm, he learned that it would become a vineyard for wine production. What is the ruling?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Working on the farm is permissible; because what he will do consists of actions that are permissible in themselves, and the sin is on the one who commits the forbidden act, not on him. However, it is preferable to avoid it to steer clear of disagreement, and God knows best.
