The Ruling on Usurious Money After Repentance

Question
I had taken a loan from one of the usurious banks, and I repented to Allah afterwards. I invested it in a business with another man in a lawful project, and I received profits from this money. What is better for the money that came? Should I pay off the bank with it, or should I exchange the money I have with the trader and then pay off the bank?
Answer
The money that was taken from the bank is usury, and its profits are considered impure and should not be benefited from. The owner should estimate it and give it as charity. You should hasten to repay the loan to the bank to end the sin, and we ask Allah Almighty to accept your repentance.
