The Ruling on Not Performing the Prostration of Recitation from the Time It Becomes Obligatory

Question
When I come across a prostration of recitation during the recitation of the Quran, I do not perform the prostration of recitation. Is my recitation correct? And is there a sin upon me for that?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The prostration of recitation is obligatory in a relaxed manner. If you do not prostrate, it remains a debt upon you, and you can prostrate whenever you wish. You can also prostrate at the Mushaf fourteen times at once, and the prostration has no bearing on the validity of the recitation, and God knows best.
