Not Reading the Rules for Those Who Have Learned Them
If a person is knowledgeable about the rules of recitation and Tajweed but does not apply them while reading in prayer, is he sinful for that, knowing that he is not a memorizer of the Book of Allah, the Exalted?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Reading with the rules of Tajweed in prayer is a Sunnah; whoever does it will be rewarded, and whoever neglects it will not be sinful. And God knows best.
