Whoever intends to pray and then walks to the place of prayer, but when he arrives, the intention does not come to him

Question
What is the ruling for someone who intended to pray, then walked to the place of prayer, but when he arrived, the intention did not come to him?
Answer
His prayer is valid as long as he does not engage in anything that is not of the same kind as prayer between the intention and the takbir: such as talking, eating, and drinking. The intention should coincide with the takbir here; because walking to the prayer does not prevent the connection between the intention and the takbir, as it is of the same kind as prayer.
