Whoever Holds a Tied Rope in His Prayer While It Contains Impurity
What is the ruling for someone who holds a tied rope in his prayer while it contains impurity?
Answer
His prayer is valid; because it is not a condition for the place touched by the hands during prayer to be pure, but the condition is the purity of the place where the worshiper prostrates and the place of standing only. See: Fath al-Bab al-'Inayah 1: 220.
