I say, and with God's success: The impurity that is on the body, clothing, or place has two conditions: it may be visible or it may be invisible. If it is visible, it is purified by the removal of its essence, with water and any pure liquid that removes the impurity, such as vinegar and similar substances, even if a trace remains that is difficult to remove. If it is invisible, it is purified by washing it three times with wringing it out each time if possible, such as with clothing, provided that one exerts effort in wringing it out on the third time according to their strength, or it can be washed and left until the dripping stops, and so on. If that is not possible, the impure item can be placed in running water, or a large amount of water can be poured over it and the water can run over it for a day or a night, and it will be purified without wringing or triple washing; because it is presumed that the impurity has been removed from it, and the estimation of a night is to cut off any doubts.
