What is the ruling for someone who turns his chest away from the Qibla in prayer?

His prayer is invalid; because the condition is to face the Qibla with the chest, and if this is not done, the prayer is invalid. See Al-Kifayah 1: 237, and Nafi' Al-Mufti 241.
