Who prays alone at home and suffices with the people's call to prayer and iqama

Soru
What is the ruling on someone who prays alone at home and suffices with the people's call to prayer and iqama?
Cevap

It suffices him; for Ibrahim, may Allah have mercy on him, said: ((Alqama and Al-Aswad entered upon Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, and he said: Did these people pray behind you? We said: No, he said: Stand up and pray, he did not command us to call to prayer or iqama)), in Musnad Abi Awana 2: 165, and Sunan Al-Bayhaqi Al-Kabir 1: 406, and Musnad Al-Shashi 1: 416, and its chain of narration is authentic as in I'la Al-Sunan 2: 125. However, if he performs the iqama, it is good; because if he is unable to achieve the congregation by himself, he is not unable to imitate it, so it is recommended for him to perform the prayer in the manner of the congregational prayer. See: Al-Bada'i 1: 152-154.
