I say, with Allah's guidance: Zakat is not obligatory on the sale price if it is a debt; because for zakat to be obligatory on wealth, it must be owned completely both in essence and in disposal. Before receiving the price, ownership is incomplete, so zakat is not obligatory due to the condition not being fulfilled, and Allah knows best.
