Zakat on Olives
The zakat on olives is 10% if it is rain-fed, and 5% if it is irrigated without a condition of minimum amount. Is zakat obligatory even if the quantity is very small?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The zakat on crops is obligatory regardless of the quantity of its production, as there is no minimum threshold for it according to Abu Hanifa, and God knows best.
