Zakat on Loan Money
I took a loan and had other money, and I combined them for trade, and the profits are used to repay the debt. Do they have Zakat?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: There is no zakat due on you unless the wealth you have exceeds your debts, such that it reaches the nisab, which is the value of 100 grams of gold. And God knows best.
