Zakat on Investment Account
A person has an amount of one hundred thousand dinars in an Islamic bank in the form of an investment with variable profit. Does he have to pay Zakat, and what is its amount?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: He must pay his zakat; because he has reached the nisab, and his zakat will be 2.5%, and God knows best.
