Zakat on Inherited Land
I have a piece of land worth approximately (14) thousand that I inherited, and I have had it for about (5) years. Does it have Zakat, and if so, how much is the amount?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Such land is not owned for the purpose of trade, so zakat is not due on it, and God knows best.
