Zakat on Gold When the Owner Differs

Question
A sister asks if she has pieces of gold, and she divided this gold between her two daughters and herself (the mother), one daughter is 21 years old and the other is 14 and a half. Does she have to measure the zakat threshold for the gold for each one separately? Or does she combine the weight of all the gold and apply a unified threshold?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The ownership of gold by sisters means that each one of them has a specific share. Whoever reaches the threshold of gold must pay its zakat, otherwise, she does not, and God knows best.
