Zakat on Fed Animals for Half a Year or More
Is zakat obligatory on camels, cattle, and sheep if they are fed for the whole year or half a year?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It should not be livestock; because the consideration is for the majority of the year, so it would be the zakat of traders, not the zakat of livestock. And God knows best.
