I say, and with God's success: If it is in the garden of the house, it is exempt from zakat, but if it is outside, zakat is required. It will be 10% if it is irrigated with rainwater, and similarly if it is mostly irrigated with rainwater throughout the year. If it is mostly irrigated with non-rainwater throughout the year, then 5% is required. And God knows best.
