Zakat al-Fitr is not obligatory on the indebted

Question
Is it obligatory for the indebted (debtors) to pay Zakat al-Fitr?
Answer
I say, and with Allah's success: Zakat al-Fitr is obligatory upon everyone who possesses the minimum threshold for zakat, which is (100) grams in excess of their essential needs, such as housing, a car, furniture, and others. Therefore, if a person does not have surplus wealth of this amount, Zakat al-Fitr is not obligatory upon them, and a debtor does not possess this amount, so Zakat al-Fitr is not obligatory upon them, and Allah knows best.
