Zakat al-Fitr for the Fetus
What is the ruling on giving Zakat al-Fitr for a fetus in its mother's womb?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The Zakat al-Fitr is not obligatory except after being born alive; however, giving charity in general is not prohibited, and God knows best.
