Wiping Over Winter Boots
Regarding wiping over the sock or shoe, the doctor said: If you wear thick socks and then wear winter boots, it is permissible to wipe over the boots. Now, if I wear thin socks and then wear the winter boots or shoes, is it permissible to wipe over them?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If the winter shoe covers the ankles, it is permissible to wipe over it like the leather socks, whether there is a thick or thin sock underneath, and God knows best.
