Wiping over the shoes and praying after removing them
I am a university student and I cannot take off my shoes at the university every prayer time. Is it permissible for me to wipe over my shoes, knowing that my shoes cover the ankles? After wiping, is it permissible for me to take off my shoes and pray, or is it not valid to take them off after I have wiped over them?

I say, and with God's help: If the shoes cover the ankles, it is permissible to wipe over them if worn in a state of purity. If they are removed after wiping, it is required to wash the feet because the wiping over the shoes is invalidated by their removal. And God knows best.
