I say, and with God's help: It is not necessary to wash the visible part of the member between the two knots of the bandage that is not covered by the bandage, and it is sufficient to wipe it according to the more correct opinion; because if he washes it, the bandage will become wet, and perhaps the moisture will penetrate to the wound, causing harm.
