Whoever vows to fast forever and is unable to do so

Question
What is the ruling for someone who vows to fast forever and is unable to do so?
Answer
Whoever vowed to fast forever but was unable to do so due to being preoccupied with making a living, or vowed to fast for a specific period and did not fulfill it until it became impossible, then he may break his fast and provide a compensation. If he cannot afford the compensation due to hardship, he should seek forgiveness from Allah, the Exalted.
