Whoever vowed to fast on certain days and died before those days passed
What is the ruling for someone who vowed to fast on certain days and died before those days?
Answer
There is no obligation on him; because the offer is linked to a specific time, if he dies before it, he is not required to do anything, just as if he dies before the start of Ramadan. See: Bada'i' al-Sanai' 2: 105.
