What is the ruling for someone who vowed to fast for a month and the time arrived while he was sick, then he died before recovering from his illness?
Answer
There is no obligation to make up for it, except if he recovers before death, then he must make it up: as in the fasting of Ramadan, see: Bada'i' al-Sana'i' 2: 105.
