Question
What is the ruling for someone who has wounds on his limbs and is unable to wash them during ablution or bathing?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is necessary to pass water over it; if he is unable to do so, he must wipe it. Then, if he is still unable to do so, he should wash what is around it and leave it. Refer to: Al-Ghunya Al-Mustamli 1: 119-120, and Sharh Al-Wiqaya p. 119, and God knows best.
