Question
Does not fulfilling a vow necessitate anger from Allah, the Exalted? For example, could it lead to misfortune for one's children due to not fulfilling the vow?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Not fulfilling a vow makes it a debt on his neck that he will be asked about on the Day of Resurrection, and increasing acts of devotion to God Almighty lifts calamities from oneself, family, and children, so it is from this aspect, and God knows best.
