What falls under the hadith: 'Every innovation is a misguidance'

Question
The innovations that are widespread among people and are included under the hadith: 'Every innovation is a misguidance', such as saying: 'Allah, the Exalted, has spoken the truth', 'Blessed Friday', and kissing the Quran, among others, are they forbidden? Or is attributing their practice to the Prophet, peace be upon him, while he did not do them?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: These actions were performed by the كبار الصحابة (senior companions), so is it conceivable that the Prophet, peace be upon him, did not educate the companions or teach them the religion to the extent that they would act in such a manner? Thus, the claim that it is a forbidden innovation contradicts the consensus, and these are recommended matters. And God knows best.
