I say, and with God's help: A sheep is required if there is one or more limbs, and if it is less than a limb, a charity is required, which is half a sa'. There is no difference in this matter between intentional and unintentional actions regarding the penalty, but it differs in terms of sin before God Almighty; the one who acts intentionally is sinful, while the other is not.
