I say, and with God's guidance: It is forbidden for a woman to uncover her hair or any part of her body for work or otherwise. And Allah, the Exalted, will suffice you from such actions. The worldly life cannot replace the Hereafter, and it is not permissible for you to wear a wig for coverage, as beautification and temptation are indeed present in it, thus the prohibition remains.
