Wearing a Mask During Umrah
What is the ruling on wearing a mask during Umrah in the time of Corona? Is there any sin or wrongdoing for the pilgrim? Does the ruling differ during Hajj?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: There is no sin in wearing it due to Corona, but it is a transgression in Umrah and Hajj, for which a charity is required; because it was worn for less than a day, and God knows best.
