Question
Is it permissible to perform ablution with water in which a bug has died?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If something that does not have flowing blood dies in water, like a bug, it remains pure and purifying for ritual impurity, and it is permissible to perform ablution and bathing with it; because the impure is the spilled blood, and it does not contain blood. Refer to: Al-Waqayah and its commentary by Sadr al-Shari'ah, pages 96-97, and God knows best.
