Vow of Sacrifice for the Sake of God
A person vowed to sacrifice a 'fadu'. Are its conditions the same as those of the sacrificial animal in terms of age and being free from defects? The word 'fadu' in the colloquial dialect means a sacrifice, and what is the age of the calf for it to be sufficient?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is not required to have the conditions of a sacrificial offering; because it is slaughtered for the sake of Allah, it is permissible absolutely without conditions, and Allah knows best.
