Question
What is the ruling on drinking from cups that say 'Ramadan Kareem', as well as the disposable tablecloths currently available in the markets that are then thrown into garbage bins?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: The Arabic script should be respected because the Quran is written in it, and it is disliked to disrespect it by eating on it and throwing it in the garbage. However, if it contains anything from the Quran or the name of Allah, as in some names like Abdullah, it is forbidden to disrespect it and throw it in the garbage. And God knows best.
