I say, and with God's help: If it is for the purpose of beautifying oneself for non-mahrams, it is not permissible; due to the temptation it entails. The mentioned change is not considered a valid reason in Sharia for establishing rulings, and the basis of prohibition revolves around temptation. And God knows best.
