Question

I am a mother of orphans, and I have a small pension, but I also receive assistance from people. My mother is ill and needs expensive treatment, and my father and siblings do not give her money for treatment. I spend my children's money on my mother, and my children have not yet reached maturity. Is this permissible, knowing that I am tightening my budget for my children in order to spend on my mother? Is this permissible?

Answer

I say, and with God's help: It is not permissible to spend on the parents from this pension if it is for the minors, and it is permissible to spend from the assistance that comes from people if it is not explicitly given to the minors as a form of ownership. And God knows best.
