Question
Is it permissible for a veiled woman to uncover her face in front of her son's in-laws, specifically the father of her son's wife?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: the face is not an 'awrah, but it is covered for the sake of avoiding fitnah (temptation). If there is no fitnah in revealing it, then it is permissible, but it is preferable not to do so, and God knows best.
