Unable to Fast Due to the Necessity of Taking Medication

Question
A sister suffers from epilepsy and electrical charges, and at noon she must take her medication. What should she do about fasting?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If a trustworthy doctor informs her that it is not possible to adjust the medication time to the time of breaking the fast, it is permissible for her to break her fast and pay the compensation for fasting if fasting harms her. The compensation for each day is to feed a needy person, and it is equivalent to two dinars. And God knows best.
