Transporting Forbidden Foods
Is it permissible to have a delivery job where forbidden and permissible foods are transported? The person in this job does not cook, buy, or sell, but only transports. The employee receives their wages from the delivery company, not from the buyer or the seller. What is the ruling?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: Delivery in itself is permissible even if it contains forbidden things; because it involves a permissible act, which is merely the delivery, and between it and the sin there is an act of a chosen doer, so the sin is not upon him. And God knows best.
