Does the washing of the deceased become invalid if a non-mahram touches the shroud of the deceased? Knowing that my uncle placed his hand on my mother's head - may God have mercy on her - from above the shroud during his farewell to her?

Answer

I say, and with God's success: Touching the deceased does not invalidate the washing, and your uncle should not touch your mother's head during the farewell; because he is not one of her mahrams, and God knows best.
