Tooth extraction, filling, and root canal during Ramadan for the fasting person do not invalidate the fast. Simply extracting a tooth during Ramadan does not break the fast, but if any water or blood enters the stomach, the fast is invalidated. Whoever's fast is invalidated by this must refrain from eating and drinking for the rest of the day out of respect for the month, and they must make up for that day later. If possible, it is better to postpone the extraction to the night or after Ramadan.
