Question
Should the Fajr obligatory prayer be delayed until the time of prayer in the mosques, or is it permissible to perform the prayer before the time, with evidence?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The time for Fajr begins with the call to prayer, and it is permissible to pray from that time. There is no virtue in delaying for those who pray at home; because the delay is for the sake of increasing the number in the congregation, and God knows best.
