The Woman's Exit During the Waiting Period of Mourning

Question
A woman whose husband divorced her in a moment of anger and passed away the next day says that she did not observe the waiting period because she is divorced, and she has two children who have hearing problems. She was taking them to centers and there is no one else to help her with this task. She asks: What should she do? Is she sinning?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If her husband divorces her while he is angry, to the extent that his actions go beyond the usual, such as hitting, cursing, and breaking things, then the divorce does not take effect. If he divorces her with a revocable divorce, it will be revocable, and she will now observe the waiting period of death. If he divorces her with an irrevocable divorce, she will observe the waiting period of divorce, not the waiting period of death. In all cases of the waiting period, if there is a necessity for her to leave her house, it is permissible for her to go out. And God knows best.
