The Witr Prayer in Congregation Due to the Difference in Its Performance from the Imam

Question
What is the ruling on missing the Witr prayer in congregation with an Imam who prays in a manner different from the Hanafi school during the month of Ramadan? And what is the ruling for one who follows that Imam in the individual rak'ah, and then prays an additional individual rak'ah after the Imam's Tasleem to complete the Shaf' in Taraweeh?
Answer
I say, with God's help: He prays two rak'ahs behind the imam with the intention of a voluntary prayer, and does not pray the third rak'ah alone with the imam; rather, he prays it as the witr alone by himself, as is his school of thought. It is disliked for him to follow the imam in the solitary rak'ah and then leave him to complete the remaining rak'ahs of witr. And God knows best.
